The world of teaching can be very busy and sometimes it can be difficult to maintain a healthy lifestyle – particularly during report writing, late meetings, and interviews! I know I’ve personally struggled with maintaining this – even before I was a teacher.
I have included this section in A Teacher’s Shoes because I do think that healthy living is a big part of teaching. The healthier we are, the more energy we have, the clearer we are, and the better we can teach. Don’t get me wrong, I am by no means an expert – but I am on a journey of my own.
In this section you will find all sorts of articles and ideas that may help you on your walk. Please ensure that everything you try is right for you, and consult with professionals if needed.
I think a big part of being successful in healthy living is not doing things alone. Even though this is all online, I want you to know that you’re not alone. People struggle with this each and every day, and a lot of the time I’m one of them!
So for all of you teachers out there, who may be on the same road as I am – welcome!
Enjoy the bits and pieces I share with you, celebrate the little steps you make, and let’s do this together!
